Coolio got locked up for beating his baby mama.....Oh No He Didn't!!

The Beat down occurred on April Fool's Day, April 1st when the Rap icon brought another woman to his baby Mama's house, the rest is history. 

If that was an April Fools prank, "guess what Coolio, you've been served", literally.

According to TMZ Artis Ivey Jr, was popped on April Fools' Day after he allegedly pushed Anabella Chatman to the ground and punched her in the face.

And to add insult to injury ... according to the police report, Coolio then hightailed it out of there with their son and the other woman."

Anabella says "Coolio struck her with his car as he beat his hasty retreat -- in fact, cops said she had tire marks on her leg. 

Coolio tried convincing cops HE was the victim and that she scratched him in a jealous rage."

The officers didn't believe his story and he was taken to the police station.
