Who say's Caribbean music can't work together?

Dancehall duo RDX has been successfully  fusing Soca and Dancchall music for years.
"Now who would have thought that?."
Like Trinidadians who fuse our music with other types to make our music more marketable abroad, RDX have been doing the same with one twist, they fused our music. This just goes to show how powerful Soca music and Trinidad and Tobago culture is.
The duo has been working on reinventing themselves as they had been around for over five years. They were interview by Winford Williams of OnStage which is Jamaica's premier entertainment television show. While on the show last weekend RDX opened up about reinventing themselves last year, being underrated and launching a massive comeback.
“This past 12 months or so was an injection of a new RDX, a new creativity,” RDX member Renegade said.
“Basically when we came back in 2012 with the Mohawk and and the colored streaks and just reinventing ourselves and taking it back after the summer.”
RDX currently has a slew of hits bubbling on the airwaves including “Kotch,” “Broad Out,” “Mad Boss,” and more.
